Angela Martin

Angela Martin, a vibrant soul born on February 15, 1956, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Lionel Martin Sr. and Delores Doss, left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her. As the third of seven children, Angela's arrival was a joyous blessing.

Tragically, she was preceded in death by her sister, Terrisita Young, and brother, Merwin Martin. Angela's education in the Saint Louis Public Schools nurtured her lively spirit and infectious laughter, making her the life of every party. Her life was a testament to strength and resilience.

Angela's greatest gift was the three phenomenal sons she blessed with: Jerome Martin, Darrian Martin, and Keown Martin. Each son was a testament to her love and dedication.

Throughout her life, Angela's unwavering commitment to her jobs earned her numerous certifications and accolades. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and make time for her loved ones, whether it was on a weekday or a weekend, surrounded by her grandchildren.

Nigel Martin, Nya Martin, Nia Martin, Darrian Martin Jr., and Astyn Martin were the joys of Angela's life. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating a home away from home where they could feel loved and supported. Angela welcomed not only her sons but also their friends, treating them as her own.

A true mother at heart, Angela's wings took her to the stairway to heaven on Monday, January 20, 2025. Her pain and suffering have finally ceased, and her soul finds eternal rest.

Angela's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her siblings, Deborah Martin, Lionel Martin Jr., Hassan Martin, and Yasmin Martin, as well as her children, Jerome Martin, Darrian Martin, and Keown Martin. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Nigel Martin, Nya Martin, Nia Martin, Darrian Martin Jr., and Astyn Martin, as well as a host of cousins, family, and friends.
